Leading into the Future
Hi! My name is Mark Kusiak, and I’m honoured to serve as the new Chair of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Administrator of Video Relay Services (CAV).
First, I would like to take a moment to recognize and thank David Joseph, who has served as the Chair since 2021. David has provided thoughtful leadership and unwavering commitment to our mission during a time of growth and transformation. On behalf of the entire Board and organization, thank you, David, for your years of service and the legacy you leave behind.
I’m also pleased to share that I have been appointed by the Board to serve a second three-year term as the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing ASL/LSQ Director. Ruth Altman, Director of Telecommunications Service Providers (TSPs), has also been reappointed to a second term. In addition, the ASL interpreter stakeholder group has re-elected Carla Dupras to serve another term.
I’d like to thank Ruth and Carla for their continued dedication. Their ongoing contributions bring stability and help provide a strong foundation as we move forward together.
